The Dollar Store Museum

How is it possible that this museum doesn’t exist yet?? After a short two day workshop with the Spanish firm Toormix, the MICA GD MFA class was asked to name and create a logo for one of two museums: Museum of Textures or The Dollar Store Museum. I teamed up with my good friend and fellow GD MFA’er Supisa (who, as you can see is stellar at making icons and symbols). We liked the mark so much, we decided to continue the project on our own. We’ve been translating our mark into a brand identity system for the coolest musuem that never was.

If only.

Supisa and I did the these last friday…potential designs for 15″ x 22″ silkscreened posters.Stationary system round 1: front and backs of the letterhead, business card, and envelope.
